ISEA
has recently designed and developed a floatation device made entirely from
a single piece of roto-moulded polyethylene to guarantee complete hydraulic
retention. The Floater Element is an accessible and versatile solution capable
of operating in a diverse range of markets and applications. It can be equipped
with an optional adjustable buoyancy control, and its design also allows
for easy and convenient joining of frames with various arrangements according
to the constraints and requirements of the application.
Specifically designed for shallow water pipeline installation in the Caspian
Sea, the Floater Elements have a buoyancy capacity of approximately five
tonnes per unit and a high resistance to extreme weather conditions (i.e.
-35 ºC to +40 ºC). The versatility of the Floater Element is its
key strength, allowing it to be applied to an innumerable amount of potential
fields and applications.
Key Lead Properties
- Impervious to corrosion, easily transportable, durable and re-usable;
- Not limited to only one field: can be used in virtually any aquatic body;
- Can be equipped, and is compatible with, any frame system mounted on one or more Floater Elements;
- Manufacturing process guarantees complete hydraulic retention;
- Recyclable and produced from an environmentally friendly base material.
